Once upon a time, Susie, from Chicago, met Nick, from Toronto, in an elevator in Las Vegas. Eventually, they got married. The End.
Okay. There's a bit more that happened in between but the fact that they met serendipitously and got married is pretty amazing.
They chose Niagara-On-The-Lake as a destination wedding seeing as Susie's side hails from the USA and most, if not all, of Nick's family lives in Halifax. They had a small and intimate wedding reception in the Prince of Wales Hotel and invited about 60 of their closest friends and immediate family members. For a smaller turnout than most weddings I've DJ'd for, they partied it up pretty BIG and even drew noise complaints from some of the hotel patrons! It's a wedding! Live a little!
Dee & Jerry's wedding reception was pretty fun. It had a singer, guitarist and a belly dancer. This was held at King's Garden banquet hall in Etobicoke.
Location: Delta Markham Hotel
Clara and I just came back from our honeymoon in Hawaii and wanted to say thank you for your great DJ services on our wedding on Sat-Aug-27. We had many compliments from our friends and family on the music throughout the evening and the coordination of the sound during speeches.
Thank you again for helping us make our day so special and best wishes to you for continued success!
- Rich and Clara
Congratulations, Clara & Richard!
This wedding was the first of a double-header-wedding-weekend that was held on Friday, August 26th, 2011. The location for Courtney and Sean's wedding reception was at the Royal Ashburn Golf Club in the northern part of Whitby.
I had originally met Courtney through her sister (who is a neighbour of mine.) Apparently, Sean knew I was the "right" DJ for them when he once saw my little boy wearing his RUN DMC shirt! The overtones of "hip hop" and "old school" communicated through my son's seemed to have been the clincher!
This was also the first wedding where I was able to use the Numark NS6. Flawless.
